Kyle Corbin brings a fighter’s mindset and a coach’s patience to every class at Burleson Strength and Fitness. With a competitive MMA record of 6-1, Kyle combines real fight experience, technical instruction, and individualized coaching to help students develop confidence, discipline, and effective combat skills at every level.

Kyle’s coaching philosophy is rooted in functional martial arts that work both inside competition and in real-world self-defense situations. His approach blends Muay Thai striking, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling fundamentals, movement control, and defensive awareness into a complete fighting system designed for practical effectiveness, conditioning, and long-term growth.

Kyle trained under respected martial artists including Pablo Alfonso, who was inducted into the Florida Hall of Fame for his contributions to combat sports, as well as Mike “Hollywood” Hanks, a longtime professional fighter and highly regarded MMA coach known for developing skilled and disciplined competitors. Through years of training, competition, and coaching, Kyle developed a balanced style that values both technical precision and adaptability under pressure.

BSF CIRRICULUM APPROACH

Level 1: Cardio Kickboxing & Fundamentals

Beginner focused classes emphasizing:

No contact sparring is included at this level, allowing students to build skill and comfort first.
